Distributed DTUs are suitable for 10kV distribution automation systems and are designed according to the distributed structure technology. The distribution substation terminal consists of several spacing units LY-D602(S) and common unit LY-D601(S) together. The small, standardized structure of the terminal units in the distribution substation facilitates interchangeable installation in the ring main unit.
LY-D601(S) public unit is responsible for collecting telecommunication data, telemetry data, protection events, wave recording data, operation status, electric energy data and other related information of each DTU spacing unit and remotely transmitting them to the main station through communication equipment. The DTU common unit acquires the remote-control command issued by the main station and realizes the function of remote-control operation for each DTU spacing unit. LY-D602(S) spacing unit integrates the centralized FA and in-place FA protection functions of the main station, which can realize the logic functions of microcomputer integrated relay protection, voltage-time-type feeder automation, voltage-current-type feeder automation, intelligent distributed feeder automation and so on. It can be installed anywhere on the 10kV ring network lines, including the ring network power supply line and the single radial line or branch line, the circuit breaker or load switchgear of the small resistance grounding system or the arcing coil grounding system. Thus, it’s possible to realize rapid fault position, fault removal, fault isolation and load transfer of the distribution line, and to quickly restore power supply to the non-fault area.
